25 days of you

Happy December! ❄️✨
Every year, I feel like the internet tries to convince us that December should be a productivity sprint. Finish strong. Don’t wait until January. Optimize your morning routine.
But here’s the thing: we’ve already worked hard for 11 months now. What if, instead of running into 2026, we just… didn’t?
This year, I wanted to create something that feels good instead of overwhelming. Something that actually helps you enjoy the final month of 2025.
So, welcome to 25 Days of You! A festive, zero-pressure countdown designed to help you rest, reset, and feel more like yourself. Each day has one tiny, doable thing. No glow-ups, no self-reinvention, no life audits. Just moments that make the end of the year feel better.
Below is the full calendar so you can follow along - whether you check in every day or just pick a few that sound nice.
25 days of you: the complete calendar
day 1: treat yourself
Buy the thing that’s been sitting in your cart. Consider it your holiday gift to yourself - because you deserve it
day 2: give
In honor of Giving Tuesday yesterday, give what you can: volunteer your time, donate a few dollars to one of your favorite local charities, or donate the coat that’s been hanging in your closet for years that you haven’t gotten rid of yet.
Giving to others feels so unbelievably good, it’s basically selfish.
day 3: fix one annoying thing
Sew a button, cancel a subscription, finally reply to an email that’s been stressing you out for weeks but realistically doesn’t take that long to get off your to-do list. We’re not fixing everything; just one small thing you’ve been putting off.
Two minutes, instant relief.
day 4: wear something that makes you feel cute
It’s the end of the work/school week, which means you’re probably tired. A great outfit is the perfect boost to get you through the day and excited for the weekend.
day 5: take a fresh air reset lap
Take a 10-minute walk outside to let your brain breath a little. Look at a tree. Pet a dog if one appears. Just clear your head a little.
day 6: have a mini pajama morning
Not a full slow morning or a whole routine. Just… stay in your pajamas for an extra 10 minutes. Drink your coffee in them. Scroll a bit. Stretch. Stare out the window in a dramatic, reflective way. Whatever feels nice.
day 7: make a december watchlist
What are your holiday must-watches? The Holiday, Elf, Harry Potter. Maybe you’re like me and love the cheesy Hallmark-y movies that come out every year (if so, I hear good things about Netflix’s Champagne Problems).
day 8: make one everyday task cozy
Light a candle while you clean or study for finals. Put on some festive music while you cook dinner.
Add a little bit more cheer to everyday tasks - ‘tis the season for it!
day 9: text someone something kind
Go ahead and make somebody’s day.
day 10: declutter one digital thing
Your desktop. All of the accidental screenshots of your lock screen in your camera roll. The promotional emails you can quickly delete. Your downloads folder (scary). Don’t go too hard on this one; we’re not clearing the entire inbox or anything.
Even a few minutes of decluttering will help your digital life feel less chaotic.
day 11: sweet treat day!!!
Go get yourself your favorite holiday coffee from Starbucks or a pastry from the local Parisian bakery. You earned it.
day 12: listen to a mood-boost song
A middle-school anthem. Showtunes. Old school Taylor Swift or literally anything Sabrina Carpenter. Bonus points if it’s something slightly embarrassing or a guilty pleasure listen.
day 13: do something just for fun for 20 minutes
Pinterest scrolling, journalling, wandering a bookstore. Whatever you’ve been saying you would do if you just had a little more free time.
No productivity. No improvement. No purpose. Just guilt-free fun.
day 14: phone in another room for 15 minutes
A tiny Sunday reset to get you off your screen.
pro tip: get yourself a hand mask - it’ll help your hands as they inevitably get dry over the winter, and it also forces you to hold nothing for the time you’re masked up. Double self-care!
day 15: get ready for tomorrow morning tonight
Pick out your outfit, get the coffee prepped and ready to go, maybe set out your favorite Santa mug. One minute of effort will lead to one morning of peace.
day 16: delete 3 things from your to-do list
This is going to feel SO good and also even a little rebellious? If something has been on your to-do for months, I’m here to give you permission to just let it go. It’s probably not important enough to take up any space in your mind.
day 17: a 5-minute desk refresh
Throw out the rogue receipts. Stack the papers. Wipe the surface. Again, we’re not talking a full overhaul (unless that speaks to you) - just sort something that makes your desk feel less stressful.
day 18: add one festive thing
Throw a bow in your hair, get some peppermint mocha creamer for your coffee. It’s 1 week to Christmas - let yourself embrace this cozy time of year!
day 19: hydrate like you mean it
Cute cup. Ice. Lemon, if you want to be an overachiever about it. 62 ounce minimum!
day 20: have yourself a merry little outing
Take yourself on a mini-Saturday adventure to Trader Joe’s, a bookstore, a nostalgic spot. Whatever feels fun and low-effort.
day 21: rewatch a comfort episode
Maybe it’s Gilmore Girls “I smell snow” or the episode of The Office where Dwight buys all of the unicorn dolls and is selling them at a massive mark-up.
Preferably seasonal and silly.
day 22: send a “thinking of you” message
Not in a text your ex toxic way. More like to your grandma or the friend you don’t talk to all the time but when you see them it’s like no time has passed.
Peak December kindness.
day 23: scroll your 2025 photos
Take a trip down memory lane and appreciate all the awesome things you did this year. All of the cozy nights in, the countless pictures of your dog, the awesome trip to somewhere new.
day 24: take a cute selfie or fit check
Holiday fashion is sooooo slept on. Velvets, reds, sparkles, plaid. Show off your finest Christmas Eve attire! Bonus points if you include some sort of string lights or Christmas tree in the background.
day 25: take 5 minutes for yourself
In the laziest, loveliest way possible. Sneak away from the noise - the kitchen, the group chat, the family yelling at the football games on TV - and just find a pocket of stillness.
I feel like I let a lot of good things pass me by in my journey to the next thing. So I hope taking 5 minutes to sit, reflect, and feel the holiday vibes can make the last 25 days of prioritizing yourself stick.
I’ll be posting each day’s moment on TikTok and Instagram (join the chaos), but Substack will stay our slower, cozier corner of the internet.
Save this calendar, share it with a friend, or just use it as permission to take December gently.
Here’s to a month that feels less like a sprint and more like a nice slow walk into 2026.
