I admittedly have not done a ton of shopping at Ann Taylor. I think I had a blazer from there right when I started my career. So imagine my surprise when their Work Tops and Blouses section was... really cute? Here are some winners:

why we like it: it looks extremely breathable, which is perfect for summer office days. it also comes in red and tan, but the white is such a classic! get ready to look and feel great in this one

why we like it: this is such a good way to take a classic blouse and make it not boring! love the detail, and this is going to be perfectly lightweight for summer. it also comes in black and white if the pop of red isn't your thing 

shirred yoke sleeveless shirt

sizes: XXS - XXL

why we like it: is this the most exciting top in the world? maybe not, but i think there's a subtle beauty to it that will have you looking great all summer. it's reliable, functional, comfortable, and classic. this top makes business professional a breeze 

floral linen sleeveless shirt

why we like it: it's giving the classic reformation pattern, but definitely not the reformation pricing. such a pretty spring/summer vibe! this is easy to dress up or down - you can easily throw this under a cardigan with some jeans for a nice smart casual look or some white Abercrombie Sloanes for business casual

dotted cowl neck top

price: originally $74.50, on sale for $37.25

sizes: XXS - XXL

why we like it: also sorta giving reformation tbh. polka dots are having a moment, and the cowl neck just makes you look so put together. j'adore!

bow neck shell

why we like it: very chic, with just the right amount of interest to be fun. this top would be perfect for business professional. throw a blazer over it and voila - good to go!

ruffle collar blouse

why we like it: last but certainly not least, this top might be our favorite. it's so different and fun, and the color is perfect. the only issue we have is that there isn't another button at the top of the shirt - why can't brands just let us button our tops where we want to? i'm going to order this and see if the cut is too low to be comfortable for work - will report back
